Justin Zapotocky
Dangerously unqualified to offer his opinions on film, Justin is a mild-mannered engineer by day who spends his evenings and weekends watching, researching, and writing about film.
Armed with only his parent's HBO subscription in the 80s, he has wasted most of his formative years dedicated to movies, including jobs as a movie usher, a Blockbuster video clerk, and failed screenwriter with two scripts acquired by super small studios, but never realized.
Always looking for a new way to fail, he propositioned (or begged) his BFF Mike James to consider hosting a podcast with him in 2022 that focused on revisiting the classic movies from 1970 - 2000 to see if they we're legitimately better than the schlock presented by modern movies. The rest, as they say, is history.
Justin is happily married to the world's most patient woman and resides in the Charlotte metro area. He has two dogs and no practical plans for the future and he's just fine with that.
